As a mentor, you will guide students through the application process, review their application materials, and help them craft a standout application that showcases their unique strengths and accomplishments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist students with creating a compelling personal statement, supplemental essays, and other application materials
• Provide feedback and suggestions on recommendation letters, resumes, and other supporting documents
• Develop a comprehensive application strategy tailored to each student's strengths and goals
• Help students stay on track with application deadlines and requirements
• Review completed applications for errors and omissions
• Communicate with students and parents regularly to ensure that they are comfortable with the application process and have all of their questions answered
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to students throughout the application process

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with the college application process and/or higher education
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple students and their applications simultaneously
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Familiarity with the Common Application and other college application platforms

This is a part-time, remote position that pays $20/booking (1 hr). AskDrona is seeking a part-time SAT mentor to help aspiring students prepare for the SAT exam. As a mentor, you will work closely with students to develop strategies and study plans for the exam. You will help students improve their English and math skills, build stamina, manage stress, and overcome any obstacles they may face during the preparation process. You will keep track of students' progress and provide feedback to help them stay on track.This position pays $20/hour based on the number of bookings, and offers a great opportunity to engage with students and help them with their college admission queries beyond SAT preparation.
